In a recent interview, Filoni decided to share his approach to working on a brand that, despite the passage of years, still enjoys enduring popularity. The creator explained that the key to success is to give the new stories their own element while maintaining a balance with Lucas' original vision.

It looks like the creator's philosophy is working for now. Both the animation and live-action productions Filoni has been involved in developing have turned out to be big hits for Disney and Lucasfilm.
