Star of Ridley Scott's Disturbing Show Joins House of the Dragon Season 2

The success of the first season of House of the Dragon made subsequent episodes almost certain. No wonder, since the story of Targaryen civil war attracted a large audience with its scope.

So far, unfortunately, it is not known when House of the Dragon will return with new episodes. We do know, however, that despite the ongoing strike of screenwriters and actors, work on the show is progressing all the time. Thanks to Redanian Intelligence we have learned that Amanda Collin has joined the cast of the show, whom you may know, among other things, from her role as Mother in another HBO show, Raised by Wolves.

Who will the actress play? According to the information provided by the aforementioned website, it appears that she will play Lady Jeyne Arryn, known in the book original as the Lady of the Eagle's Nest and the Maiden of the Valley. She is not a primary character, but this does not mean that she will not have an impact on the events show's.

We already know from the book written by George R.R. Martin that we will meet this heroine during her conversations with Jacaerys Targaryen, who will be looking for allies. It is possible that the creators will also decide to show her interaction with Joffrey Velaryon, but it may turn out that they will leave it for later seasons.

So as you can see, the cast of House of the Dragon is taking more and more complete shape. We have already learned that the show will feature several new faces, played by Alys Rivers, Simon Russell Beale, Freddie Fox and Abubakar Salim, among others.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear when we will see further struggles between Green and Black in the battle for the Iron Throne. The anticipation for the second season is therefore an ideal opportunity to catch up on the first season of House of the Dragon, which can be viewed on HBO Max.
