When will Wonka come to Max?

The movie Wonka has been in theaters for over a month now. The show tells the story of how Willy Wonka built his famous chocolate factory and what he encountered along the way. Timothée Chalamet is the main star, and Hugh Grant is playing the iconic Oompa Loompa.

So far, there has been no official news about the film's streaming release, but from the information available, we can make an educated guess as to where and when Wonka will be available.

When will Wonka appear on HBO Max?

The first question is: why specifically HBO Max? The production company and distributor of Wonka is Warner Bros. Discovery. The corporation owns the above-mentioned streaming platform, so the production has the greatest probability of appearing there. Thus, the film will join another last year's hit, Barbie, which can now be watched on HBO Max.

Another issue is the release date of Wonka on HBO Max. Barbie was released on HBO Max five months after its premiere in cinemas. Meanwhile, Blue Beetle premiered on August 18, and the was available in streaming as early as mid-November. So the difference is quite large, despite both productions being available on the same platform.
