Zack Snyder Plays Fortnite With Characters From Show Whose Creators Mocked His Movie

Zack Snyder, an American director, producer and screenwriter, makes no secret of the fact that he and his son sometimes like to play Fortnite, the popular video game from Epic Games. In a statement to IGN the artist admitted that while playing, he is most likely to play characters from Rick and Morty.

Recall that the popular third-person battle royale shooter gives players a wide field for "customization" of the controlled character. All thanks to skins and accessories, which in many cases enable us to impersonate characters known from pop culture, including those from the aforementioned animation.

One of them was Mr. Meeseeks, who appeared on the screen as early as the fifth episode of the first season. This is the name of all beings summoned with the help of the Meeseeks Box. It was the summoned character that Snyder liked to play.

Zack Snyder also admitted that he is a big fan of Rick and Morty. In 2021, he stated that he would love to direct a movie adaptation of the show, although at the time he did not specify what the project would be. In reference to the director's words, the animation creators created an episode in which Rick and Morty make fun of Zack Snyder's Justice League (episode 2, season 6). However, it seems that Snyder didn't care and didn't lose sympathy for the series' characters.
