The eighth, final episode of the second season of Reacher is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Thus, the next installment of the adventures of the titular Jack, a former soldier portrayed by Alan Ritchson, has come to an end. The last episode of this series was full of unexpected twists and provided strong emotions. Here, we explain what happened in the gripping finale.

The episode concluding the second series began with a bold decision by Jack Reacher. The hero voluntarily entered the headquarters of New Age Technologies to come face to face with Langston, responsible for the Little Wing project, and save his allies, Karla Dixon and David O'Donnell. Viewers didn't have to wait long for the first shocking news. Langston revealed to Jack that Tony Swan is dead, showing a finger and an eyeball of the murdered hero kept in a jar. This explained how the biological confirmation of Little Wing missiles, which Swan allegedly gave, was obtained.

However, as it turned out, Reacher wasn't as defenseless as we might have assumed. The cautious protagonist summoned his team, and their arrival turned out to be another surprise for the viewers. Surprised, Langston tried to escape by helicopter, taking Dixon and O'Donnell with him. Reacher, in an attempt to save the day, hung onto a departing machine. He then managed to get inside, saving his friends and taking Langston's life.

One problem was solved, but Reacher still had to deal with the Little Wing missiles and their buyer. Jacek's team managed to get to the location of the planned weapon handover. The heroes found out that the rockets worked exactly as promised in the spectacular helicopter takedown scene.

The protagonist saw through Senator Lavoy in time and seized 65 million dollars. Jack's team decided that Reacher should determine where the money goes. The hero decided to make amends to all the people who suffered in connection with the Litte Wing project, and also took care of the past of the children and parents of his allies: Dixon, Neagley and O'Donnell.

He only took a few hundred bucks for a special bus ticket that lets him travel all over the country without restrictions. This ending gives fans of the series a clue as to which Lee Child book will be adapted in the upcoming third season. The finale of the second installment wrapped up Reacher's adventure in a satisfying way, without bothering fans with cliffhangers. The next season will bring a completely new story.
