Star Wars Wants to Take a Page From Marvel's Book? Rumors of a What if...? Star Wars Show

In the universe of Star Wars there are still a lot of places that have not yet been presented to the general public. One of them is definitely the World Between Worlds, which acts as a passageway between the different paths that exist in time and space, as well as connecting them into one. Sounds almost like a multiverse, doesn't it?

So it's not surprising that rumors are increasingly appearing online that Lucasfilm is going to explore the aforementioned place in one way or another. The latest, coming from Giant Freaking Robot, is sure to electrify Star Wars fans.

The website's editor is convinced that Lucasfilm will create its own version of What If...? series from Marvel. This would enable the viewers to see for themselves how events known from the canon would unfold in other, alternative realities.

What if Anakin Skywalker never became Darth Vader? What if Obi-Wan Kenobi had trained Leia Organa instead of Luke Skywalker? These are just some of the issues that such Star Wars show could explore. And it must be admitted that similar examples can be invented in dozens or if not hundreds.

Of course, the information provided by Giant Freaking Robot should still be treated as a rumor. For the moment, the creation of a similar show is unlikely, as the studio is currently focused on other projects set in the universe.

Finally, let us remind you that another Star Wars show - Ahsoka - will debut on Disney+ on August 23.
