Plot of New Star Wars Show in Detail; Skeleton Crew and Jude Law

The TV universe in Star Wars is growing like crazy. We have just witnessed the finale of the first season of Ahsoka, and already another proposal from Lucasfilm appears on the horizon. Skeleton Crew - because that is the title of the show - is a series first revealed more than a year ago.

According to information available at the time, the show starring Jude Law will tell the story of a group of kids lost in the galaxy and trying to find their way home. In turn, the Hollywood star will most likely act as their guardian and a Jedi with strong ties to the Force. The events themselves, in turn, are expected to take place at the same time as the aforementioned Ahsoka and The Mandalorian.

There are many indications that these reports were true. This is evidenced by documents recently received by the US Copyright Office. They include, among other things, a description of the first episode of the show.

The above report also confirms that Jon Watts, known for three Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland, will direct the show's premiere episode. In turn, the cast includes: Jude Law, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Robert Timothy Smith, Ravi Cavot-Conyers and Kyrianna Kratter.

Skeleton Crew was scheduled to debut on Disney+ later this year, but due to protracted screenwriter strike, it was decided to postpone the premiere until 2024. Unfortunately, the creators have not yet decided to release any trailers. A brief teaser of the show has so far only been available to attendees of the Star Wars Celebration 2023 event in May.
