Will There be Even More Expendables? Yes, But on One Condition

In just a few days, Expend4bles will premiere in theaters. The next installment in the series brings some generational replacement at the same time. The upcoming movie will feature entirely new faces, including 50 Cent and Megan Fox. Therefore, there is a chance for more movies, but according to producers Kevin King-Templeton and Les Weldon, most depends on the fans themselves (vide Express) - on whether they decide to go to the theatre and how they will accept the new movie.

The upcoming movie is expected to be Sylvester Stallone's farewell to the series, which could theoretically be a grand finale for the entire brand. However, the baton is passed to Jason Statham, whose character becomes the new leader of the group. The famous actor is already 77 years old, and Kevin King-Templeton revealed that most of the action scenes have been adjusted for this.

That's why a lot of the clashes orbit around the characters of Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais and 50 Cent. However, this doesn't mean that the older actors are completely out of the picture. According to the producer, despite their age, they are still in shape and want to play in fight sequences:

The producer added that the older cast members take pride in performing their scenes on their own. They take care of themselves to do a good job of playing action movie heroes. Therefore, they train a lot and do not limit themselves to working with the script.
