Who's the 'Greatest Jedi of All Time'? Dave Filoni's Choice is Controversial

Dave Filoni's latest statement started a heated discussion among Star Wars fans. The creator responsible for many productions set in a galaxy far, far away recently revealed, which Jedi he considers the greatest in the entire history of the Order.

Lucasfilm, on the occasion of the promotion of the upcoming Ahsoka, shared on the official Star Wars YouTube channel a short video titled Journey to Ahsoka, in which we can see, in a nutshell, what the road to the creation of the live-action series starring Rosario Dawson in the role of Ahsoka Tano. It is in this video that the words that ignited fans are spoken. Dave Filoni, the creator of the young Jedi, referred to Ahsoka as a disciple of the greatest Jedi of all time.

This one sentence caused a huge discussion to break out on social media about, whether Anakin Skywalker was indeed, as Filoni claims, the greatest Jedi in history. It all depends on what we mean by "greatest."

Some fans agree with the filmmaker, saying that Anakin is the foundation of the entire story in the Skywalker Saga. From the beginning, he was called the Chosen One destined to restore balance to the Galaxy. It's obvious that he couldn't have been just some random Jedi to do it. The other side believes that maybe Anakin was the strongest in the Order, but when it comes to at least honoring the Jedi Code, the hero does not fare so well anymore.
