Harrison Ford Didn't Know His Captain America 4 Character Had an Alter Ego

Harrison Ford has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor plays General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross in Captain America 4, replacing the late William Hurt. Despite the fact that Ford was spotted on the set in what appeared to be torn pants, the actor for a long time did not know who his character's anti-heroic alter ego was. He was only enlightened during a recent interview with Comicbook. The star was asked about the question of Red Hulk appearing the movie.

Although the interview was to support the promotion of the latest film starring the actor, that is Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, questions about him joining the MCU were not left out either. After finally learning who the second incarnation of Thunderbolt really is, Ford turned toward his co-worker Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The actor did not hide his surprise. He wondered, why no one had told him about it before.

Finally, he addressed the question of whether fans can expect the first appearance of Red Hulk in Captain America 4. He answered evasively:

Marvel has long been secretive about Red Hulk's appearance and details about the production, claiming that the fact that the cast includes the star of Indiana Jones, firmly raises the bar. This, in turn, is great for marketing the film and constantly heating up the atmosphere.
