Diffrent Versions of Admiral Thrawn Explained by Rebel's Lars Mikkelsen

Premiere of Ahsoka is fast approaching. Fans are excited by the returns announced in the upcoming show. However, the most interesting seems to be the fact that for the first time in a live action production we will be shown the legendary Admiral Thrawn. The iconic villain will be played by Lars Mikkelsen, who has already made himself known to fans of Star Wars in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels.

So will the live-action Thrawn be different from the animated one? Or did the actor use his previous experience and approached the task in the same way? The actor himself recently decided to answer these questions.

In an interview with Empire (via ComicBook), Mikkelsen confessed that starring in the series has forced him to take a different, less expressive approach to using his voice.

The star also made no secret of his fascination with the Thrawn's character and his joy at being given the opportunity to portray him..

For those who have not followed the fate of Admiral Thrawn so far, we remind you that this character is considered one of the greatest villains of the universe of Star Wars. Thanks to his extraordinary tactical sense and meticulous analysis of the enemy, he was promoted to commander of the Imperial fleet in a very short time. During his many missions, Thrawn more than once came to cooperate with Darth Vader.

During the battles with the rebels in the Lothal sector, the admiral and his troops were attacked by Ezra Bringer and the space race of purrgils. As a result, the flagship with Thrawn on board was sent to an unknown area of the galaxy. However, it seems that in the upcoming Ahsoka the revenge-ridden commander will manage to find his way back.

The series will debut on Disney+ this August.
