Who is Rebel Moon's Harmada? Here's everything we know

Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, now available on Netflix, featured many different aliens with distinctive appearances. Among them, King Levitica from Sharaan got the most attention. He helped the Bloodaxe siblings and later also Kora. And there is Harmada too, who was shown during Nemesis' recruitment.

Who is Harmada?

This is a spider-like alien, played by Jena Malone. Harmada is one of the last representatives of the Ogumo race. They were once numerous in the underground world of Daggus, but after the planet's air was poisoned by mine excavations, the race began to die out. Harmada confessed that her offspring cannot develop due to how toxic the environment on the planet has become.

The armada perished in battle with Nemesis after it kidnapped a child from a resident of Daggus. It was supposed to be her revenge for the pollution of her home planet, which made her offspring incapable of living. During the duel with Nemesis, she proved that she can fight. Her limbs served her as a weapon. Unfortunately, neither her weapon nor the natural armor on her body were enough to win the duel with Nemesis's blazing blades.

It's possible that it was the first and last time we saw a representative of the Ogumo race on screen, considering that Harmada was one of the few survivors.
