The Ghost of Tsushima Movie Approaching; Chad Stahelski Reveals Script is Ready

If you didn't already know, we inform you that a movie adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima is being made. What's more, recently its director Chad Stahelski confirmed in an interview with Screen Rant that the script, after almost two years since the announcement, is complete and shooting is likely to start soon.

This is really great news for everyone who is eagerly awaiting the release of the movie based on the popular game from Sucker Punch. Unfortunately, the director has not revealed even an approximate date when we can expect the movie to debut in theaters. It is likely that the work will take at least two more years.

Stahelski became most famous for his series of films about John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves. Therefore, one can be sure that the adaptation is in good hands. Especially since the creator has assured he will stick to what made Ghost of Tsushima so beloved by audiences.

Recall that the aforementioned Ghost of Tsushima launched in 2020 as a PlayStation exclusive. The plot focuses on samurai Jin Sakai, who faces off against the Mongolian army invading the eponymous Japanese island of Tsushima.

The game proved to be a huge success. So far on Metacritic the title has garnered nearly 22,000 reviews from users and has an average rating of 9.1/10.
