Mass Effect Movie With Henry Cavill and Yvonne Strahovski is a Great Idea

In early 2021, Henry Cavill joked, suggesting that there are plans for a movie set in the universe of Mass Effect. A few months later, however, there were rumors that Amazon was close to acquiring the rights to BioWare's space opera. Although the movie has not been made so far, the world still holds a lot of potential. Given that Henry Cavill is pursuing a Warhammer 40,000 project together with Amazon, it is possible that a cooperation on Mass Effect could also be possible.

BioWare is currently working on the fifth installment of the game, and the film would make ideal promotional material, even if the stories were not connected in any way. Leaks so far suggest that the next game will be set after the original trilogy.

Nothing prevents the movie from featuring characters and locations known from the main story of Mass Effect, even if the story would involve a new side plot. Yvonne Strahovski is a perfect fit for Miranda Lawson and the former right hand of the Illusive Man would certainly like to learn more about her boss.. Why does the man believe so much in the central role of humanity, and why his dislike of alien races? The show could focus on this particular story.
