In most of the scenes in which Din Djarin appeared, his armor was donned not by Pedro Pascal, who played the role, but by Brendan Wayne. It has been said for some time now that in many moments of The Mandalorian we have only been hearing the voice of Pedro Pascal. The person concerned did not comment on the matter for quite some time. This changed on the occasion of a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The actor admitted that he did not wear Din Djarin's armor and gave a reason for this. "We experimented all the time, I often put on the suit, but to be honest, my body was not ready for it, the whole thing was supposed to last four months. However, I was in it, a considerable and flexible amount of time. But now what we came up with gave me the opportunity to do other things." The actor also admitted later in the interview that he was very pleased with Brendan Wayne's performance. After watching the show, he didn't notice any thing he would like to change in the behavior of the character he and he played. Of course, viewers can still see Pedro Pascal in the most significant moments of Din Djarin's story, such as him pulling off his helmet. This approach to acting in The Mandalorian allowed Pascal to focus on the filming of The Last of Us. Shooting for the HBO show was underway at the same time as the third season of the Star Wars show. For this reason, Din Djarin did not take off his helmet in the recently completed season. As a final reminder The Mandalorian can currently be viewed on Disney+.
