Eric Kripke is expanding the universe of The Boys and the first season of Gen V was just the beginning. The show was so well received that a second season was ordered even before the final episode of Gen V. This is definitely a success for Kripke, who puts his name on the entire project.

When is Gen V season 2 coming out?

Gen V season 2 plot

We know how the first season of Gen V ended - Cate and Sam started mass killing ordinary people while their friends tried to stop them. Both productions are closely related, so the story of the second series of Gen V is impossible to predict because everything depends on the fourth season of The Boys.

Currently, we don't know whether Butcher and the gang will free Marie and her friends, or whether the group will remain imprisoned until the very beginning of the next Gen V season. There is a likelihood that someone will die in The Boys, although for the sake of the fact that they belong to Gen V, Eric Kripke will want to use a divided group of friends in the second season of the spin-off. The end of the series showed how Marie and Victoria Neuman became closer. Both women have the same superpower, which could make Claudia Doumit play an important role in both productions.

At this point, the second season of Gen V is a huge unknown. Eric Kripke will just start writing the script, in which he has to combine the plots from the two series. And thus, the universe is becoming even more captivating.
