"It's Not What I Expected”. Daisy Ridley on Her New Star Wars Movie

Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey - the main character of the latest Star Wars trilogy- recently gave an interview to Collider and talked about the upcoming movie directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Star Wars is an ever-growing brand. So far, it has lived to see a great many movies and several TV shows. However, the creators don't stop there and intend to expand this world even further - it will get at least one more production starring Daisy Ridley as Rey, who will try to rebuild the Jedi Order.

The actress confirmed some time ago that she will appear in New Jedi Order, as that is the title of the upcoming movie. Now, during a recent interview, the artist mentioned that she has already heard something about the plot. As it turns out the story is not what the actress expected. Ridley, however, is excitedly waiting for the script in order to learn all the movie's events in detail.

The actress added, that the story was written for one movie, rather than another trilogy (which could be the fourth in the universe).

Ridley joined the Star Wars universe in 2015. That's when the first of the three parts of the new movie series was released in theaters - The Force Awakens. Subsequent installments were released at two-year intervals and, like the first one, did not particularly delight the fans.

We should add that all Star Wars productions can be viewed on Disney+. The latest show from this world is Ahsoka, which consists of eight episodes.
