It is safe to say that Andor is one of the best shows set in the Star Wars universe. However, it is not a production intended for everyone, and this is due to the quiet way of telling the story instead of focusing on the action.

The unhurried pace of the narrative, however, was one of the main objections of viewers, aimed at the work created by Tony Gilroy. In defense of this way of storytelling spoke Diego Luna. The actor playing the role of Cassian Andor recently gave an interview to The Playlist, during which he clarified this somewhat problematic issues.

"This is a show that requires patience, but because of its complexity there is no other way to show it. And by the time you get to the climatic third episode, you are very involved in the character's story because of what happens in it."

Diego Luna believes that it was the third episode that made viewers feel the magic of Star Wars. In turn, the premiere release of three episodes enabled viewers to get to an important point in the storyline more quickly, without having to wait a week for further developments.

However, we will have to wait a little longer for the conclusion of the story begun with the first season. New episodes of Andor are likely to debut on Disney+ in the summer or early fall of 2024.

However, some time ago Tony Gilroy revealed how he intends to end the show. As you might have guessed, it will lead to the story shown in Rogue 1.
