Ahsoka Like Gandalf? Show's Star Announces Heroine's Transformation

Ahsoka Tano is one of the characters from Star Wars that fans of the universe have long wanted to see in a solo production. And they've finally gotten it. The upcoming Ahsoka will tell the story of Anakin Skywalker's former padawan.

The character has grown from an overconfident and passionate warrior to one of the smartest and balanced characters in the Star Wars universe. Rosario Dawson, playing her in Disney's show, suggests, however, that this is not the end of the character's evolution. The actress confessed that in some ways Ahsoka's transformation is reminiscent of the metamorphosis that Gandalf underwent in The Lord of the Rings (vide Screen Rant).

Ahsoka has a lot of experience with the mystical realms of the Force, particularly with Mortis and the World Between Worlds, which has undoubtedly influenced to some degree how she views the Force and her place in it. The heroine's comparison with Gandalf suggests that she is in for a spectacular evolution. It is possible that she will expand her knowledge of the Force itself, and use her cognition to fight the Dark Side.

Whether this will actually happen, we will find out soon enough. Ahsoka will debut on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.
