This Odd Requirement Determined Who Played Boba Fett in Star Wars

Probably a fair amount of credit for this was due to the original play of the hunter in The Empire Strikes Back, Jeremy Bulloch. The late British actor revealed in an interview with Star Wars Insider, that the secret to portraying Fett was to keep all expression to a minimum.

Speaking of armor, Bulloch revealed what determined his involvement in the movie. It turns out that the makers of The Empire Strikes Back had a very simple requirement that had to be met to get the role - you simply had to fit into Fett's costume.

Although initially portraying Boba Fett did not require a great deal of talent, as the character received more screen time, acting skills played an increasingly important role. We're talking, of course, about Temuera Morrison, who played Boba's father Jango in the prequel trilogy, and then donned the iconic hunter's armor in The Mandalorian and The Book of Bobby Fett.
