Deadpool 3 With Confirmed Strong R; Director Announces Bold Movie

Contrary to fans' fears, the director of the upcoming Deadpool movie, Shawn Levy, has confirmed its high age rating, which will be the first of its kind in Disney history.

Deadpool is an adaptation of Marvel comic books that sparked a real revolution in the world of superhero movies. Cheeky and characterized by black humor, Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, is one of the favorite anti-heroes of fans around the world. Fans of the franchise were concerned about what the future of the series would look like after Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox. In recent news, it has fortunately been confirmed that the third movie will turn out to be a continuation that maintains the spirit of its predecessors.

The director of the latest installment of the adventures of Deadpool, Shawn Levy, confirmed in a recent interview that he does not intend to change the way the story is presented.

"Our movie is raw, bold and has a strong R rating, and we made every effort not to shoot this in a closed studio in a digital environment. The Internet proved this by revealing photos from the set. Thank you Internet!"

The R rating means that the movie is intended for adult audiences only and may contain content inappropriate for young people. This is exactly the kind of rating that suits the character of Deadpool and also the first movie with such rating being made for Disney.

However, we will have to wait a little longer for the premiere. Shooting of the movie has been suspended by the ongoing writers' and actors' strike in the United States. Levy also addressed this in his statement.

"Well, like the rest of our industry, or at least most of it, we had to put everything on hold. We are in the middle of shooting for Deadpool, which also features Wolverine. Our crew and the rest of us are waiting for a fair and equitable agreement that will end both strikes and enable the entire industry, including us, to get back to work."

For now, plot details of Deadpool 3 remains a mystery. What we do know, however, is that in addition to Ryan Reynolds, playing the title character, we will also see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The R-rating confirmation means that we can expect a continuation of the same style and humor that made the previous installments such big hits.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2024.
